Oyez offers a comprehensive package of information, including the content available on the Oyez website, along with the Justia Lawyer Directory and Annotated US Constitution, in a user-friendly format for mobile users.

With Oyez, users have the flexibility to focus on specific aspects of the Supreme Court's work that are of particular interest to them. For instance, a student studying constitutional law can customize the app to display only those cases that are commonly found in casebooks or textbooks. Likewise, practitioners specializing in bankruptcy cases can create a collection that exclusively features cases related to bankruptcy issues. The choice is entirely up to the user.

The app offers two options for audio playback: streaming and downloading. Streaming allows immediate access to synchronized audio and transcripts over cellular or WiFi networks. It also offers a robust feature wherein users can pause and resume playback at any time, even hours later from the same point in the audio. On the other hand, downloading enables users to store audio files for later playback. We recommend using this feature over WiFi to avoid incurring data charges.

We have made significant improvements in design and functionality, including a concise tutorial that guides both new and existing users through the various features of the app.

Oyez is regularly updated to ensure that all case descriptions are up to date. As new cases are added to the Court's docket, these additions will also be reflected in the app.
